Poem: O Beloved Wind

O’ Wind, your spirit flies in High altitude,

So lofty… so sublime… it brushes my silky hair,

And kisses my mellifluous lips,

Ah! Crisp chilly breeze, hold my hand;

Carry me from waist,

And let’s waltz on sand.

O’ Wind, you innocently approach,

And caress me in your arms;

Melodiously humming

Lullabies in ears,

My eyes pour with love and tears.

O’ Wind, please, please don’t depart,

Just cease for some Time,

For a minute… for a second…!

Ay! I’ve come from miles away;

From Himalayas and Hills,

Surmounting the insurmountable tides

In those placid Oceans,

To feel your chills,

To see your veiled Beauty,

To feel your sensual touch,

To feel how you feel,

So, hush… hush… my Beloved Wind!

Let me embrace you too, in my arms,

And breathe with you,

In you, my Beloved Wind.

Exquisite! What do you think of Ode to The Wind?

You praise and bring forward some of its ethereal qualities with much beauty and charm. Peace.

Jodah,

Hahaha. Thank you. Aren't we all students learning from eachother? :) You write wonderful fictions - inspiring me to pay heed to my fictions. They are still incomplete. Love and Hugs.

Smilealot,

Thanks, dear. I was riding in the mountains in a jeep when I took this snap. It's Ranjit Sagar Dam located in Punjab, India... feels like heaven on Earth. Beautiful place! Glad you liked the poem and the picture :) Love and Peace.
