Ode to My Flower-Gem-Pearl-Song-Beauty, By Manatita
Absorbed in Light
O radiant Light!
You that sparkle in the daytime;
You the stars at night.
Exquisite Petal; enchanting Flower,
May Your dancing form and unparalleled fragrance,
Engulf my aching heart.
Come walk with me on yonder meadows.
And, like a gentle dewdrop on a flowering dahlia,
Embrace me tenderly on Your nestling arms.
Never a dull moment!
For even when my lustre dimmers,
Your bounteous Grace still flow;
I see Your opalescent glow.
O Jewel of my eye,
Pour into my heart Your Silence-Peace.

My real niche is mystical; esoteric or ethereal poetry. And inner experience and longing are my greatest strengths. This is a feel-good type of mystical poem.
I have created the Sonnet-Ode, a poem of 14 lines, in praise and adoration of someone or something special and inspirational. In this case, the Mother Divine.
A Poem expressing the relationship between the lover and the Beloved as well as bringing out the devotional aspect of the seeker aspiring for God.
