OH~WOE IS ME

Oh~

Woe is me~

When the darkness is thick~

Muddy is my path~

As the clock doth tick~

I cry to you Oh LORD come by me fast!

Oh~

Woe is me~

When my soul does not shine~

In gloom I forgo all~

Bring your light to me LORD in YOUR time~

Do not let me as YOUR child totally fall!

Oh~

Woe is me~

When my mind is muted in doldrums~

When sleep is too much or eludes me~

Comfort me LORD with angels of love~

I ask for me anything to please THEE!

Oh~

Woe is me~

When melancholy over takes my body~

When my muscles feel like led~

Dear LORD I pray for my life not to be so cloudy~

Give me sustenance by body and blood so I may be by YOU HOLY fed!

Oh~

Woe is me~

When I have so much despair I forget my neighbor~

I barely can reach out to help them~

LORD make me less selfish, do not allow me to be a loveless whore~

Make me LORD to be a good neighbor, friend and more!

Oh~

Woe is me~

When despondency has me not care~

When unhappiness grips my spirit~

Wash me LORD so I am prepared~

And live for YOU so I maybe of clean merit!

Oh~

Woe is me~

When I cry for help not hearing the answer in my caverns~

When the HOLYIEST of GHOST hath spoke the WORD~

I pray my LORD for YOU to clear my ears to make me fathom~

For my body and soul to please Almighty THEE purely furled in Heaven!

Oh~

Woe is me~

When the darkness is thick~

Muddy is my path~

As the clock doth tick~

I cry to you Oh LORD come by me fast!

This is a very inspiring poem. It shows us how to lift ourselves out of any evil that lurks in the hearts of man.
