Ode to Knock knock jokes
making fun of knock knock jokes
The first time I heard this stupid joke for some reason I laughed my head off. Knock, knock jokes have been around since the dawn of time. Other Hubbers have mused the history of them, their appeal, and sited many samples. But I don’t think anyone has done a poem about Knock knock jokes. Let me be the first and at the risk of getting booted off of Hubpages for either my quirky sense of humor, or using the F, word, here is my poem.
Here is the original Knock knock joke:
The interrupting cow.
The interrupting cow ( but before this person can say the word “who” the teller jumps in and says Moo!!!) who?
Then my poem>>>
It all started with a knock knock joke,
Sort of like a verbal poke,
The story was told about an interrupting cow,
It lodged in my brain, just not sure how.
Ever since then the punch line has stuck,
Greeting “Moo” to each other and not giving a F**ck!
