Once Upon A Time There Was A Hollywood Girl.......

The Girl In A Hollywood World

Once upon a time there was a little girl who wanted to live in a perfect world, but one time she woke up as an adult and realized that everything sucked so she decided to write a new book. She didn't know who the characters would be but somehow they came to her out of the air because they were already there.

They were always there to add to her dispair so she gave them names and played their games so she could write about them and lie about them. After all she was so good at lying because she grew up that way in Hollywood. She did not feel bad about this because she knew it was all for good reason and to get ahead. She went to church and she talked to God and when she was bad she was very very bad and when she was good, she was better.

The hardest part was when she grew up and wanted to live the good life at home and raise her children in an honest world. That is when it all hit her and she decided to write about it in the hopes that she could turn the story into a good one. Her home life became perfect and her husband was like James Bond but he was always home. For the children their home was stable and exciting and full of adventure in their living room and they had early bedtimes. The parents always had great stories to tell. There was never boredom in the family room.

When daddy was out of work he became another character outside in the avocado orchard and they could see him in the distance from the citrus trees. He had become Andy McNab, he was hunting in their backyard and he got crazier the longer he was out of work. The children were really happy and had no idea that their dad was nuts and that "famous" and "non- famous" old boyfriends from many years ago never stopped trying to reach their mother via the internet and text messaging. But most of the time they were happy as a family and everyone was always home so no one ever really did anything bad except for that one time. Maybe two.

The girl grew up to be a fantastic mother. She was beautiful but broken, but she gave the kids everything she had except for a drink or a lot of gum. Both of the kids were excelling in school and were off the charts in Math and they never broke any rules because they didn't have too.

The little girl from Hollywood broke so many rules and married a man that should have worked for MI6 and then travelled the world with him. Homelife was like an adventure story with different characters appearing all of the time and then one day it hit her. She looked at the beautiful life she had made and even accepted her darkness from her childhood and created her own story. The story of "real life" with all of it's questions and pleasures and finally surrendered to her wants and needs and started to create something brand new.

Once Upon a time there was a girl who lived in Hollywood and wanted to be famous because she wanted to be loved. When the children came along she no longer cared about any of that and she began her journey to motherhood. She did marry a nutter but after all even a fairy tale has strange characters in it. Plus he was about to get a big gig from a studio soon.

The End.

What is sanity anyway! ha!

A world is a stage and there are many acts- many characters - the spice to add some flavor to the elixir called our life. To see it all as a grand play, filled with scripts (some written, some not) until the curtains are drawn at the very end - I'm currently working on another act to come and this time it's a comedy! ha!
