The Friendly Skies

I was at a friends house and, again, she was busy with her aquarium. Standing by a fish tank, in her basement, she pointed her finger at it and said, "Oh, look at that one. That's a pretty one".

Her remark reflected how much she loved her collection of tropical fish and I started to feel relaxed, almost as if going into a mild trance, as I gazed at those colorful fish moving slowly through the water. But it was time for us to get going so I reminded her. About an hour later we were laying down in a big field far from the city with our dirt bikes parked near by.

As we looked quietly into the sky a big hand appeared in the blue expanse above us and pointed it's finger. " Oh, look at the one," we heard a gentle ethereal voice say. "That's a pretty one." She says they were talking about her but how does she know that for sure? Maybe they were talking about me.

Never have I read anything for five times and still left unsatisfied. Ability to tell what you want to with less words is a wonderful art which you have.
