One Hundred Red Roses of Love. Poem and prose - Manatita
This poem and 100th Hub is dedicated to my fellow seekers of the Way: My friends, admirers, followers, well-wishers and all those past, present and future who follow or will follow me in my journey here on Hub Pages.
To Dora Isaac Weithers, a dear Friend and inspiration from the very beginning, always writing elevating Hubs and thus contributing to the upliftment of others; to Nellieanna, Bard of solace, and an artistic presenter par excellence, writing and engaging in poetry of supreme beauty and Light. Nellieanna has served to show, that in a heart radiating with inner beauty, there is no such thing as age.
To Billy and Bev, sublime benchmarks for marital union. Billy has engaged in various inspirational and original ideas, and has influenced many along the way in the cause of selflessness and soulful-giving to others.
To Victor Kwok, Ruby, Faith Reaper, Jamie and family, Blossom, Gypsy Rose Lee, Deb Hirt, Marlene, Ann and Vocal Coach, Tilsontitan, Midget and Astra Nomik, Eiddwen and SWilliams, who has engaged with my poems and supported me wholeheartedly.
To Audrey Hunt, Chitrangada, Deergha, Jo, Minnetonka Twin, Graceinus, Harishprasad, Genna, Susette, Walter Poon, Peach Purple, Kenneth, Nell Rose, Ruchira and Eric Dierker, Bluebird, and DDE, Abailijah, Nadine and Ps Traubie, Wayne Barrett and Miz Bejabbers, Inspired Heart, Kevin, Shampa and Flourish Anyway… and every one who have supported me here on Hub Pages.
Dear Friends, Admirers of the Way,
We have touched and kissed in our hearts,
Embraced in the ether, and overflowed in exultation.
Like butterflies, our Souls met in flight,
And exchanged their beauty,
While singing Psalms to the Infinite.
Yet the river of life moves on.
This tide of Consciousness beckons us,
We Sojourners along the Path.
And with all its trials and disenchantments,
It is still a beautiful dream called Love.
So here I am, with one hundred red roses of delight.
Through the mist have I sought You-
Fellow Pilgrims of my Inner Sun.
Like Lovers, we have held hands,
And walked romantically in beautiful Parks;
Exchanged exquisite and eloquent songs of the Spirit;
Touched hearts with our scribbling fragrances,
And peeped into the promise of tomorrow’s radiant dawn.
The Soul's Freedom. A Healing Meditation For Your Spare Moments.
My favourite colour is blue, the colour of infinity and vastness, and the colour of my two favourite Divine Incarnations: Sri Krishna and my Teacher.
Red is dynamic, vibrant, full of zeal and romance and stimulates or adds zest to life.
My Pranams and deepest gratitude.
You have offered branches of olives in my need,
My Soul’s longing and silent breath to feed.
Whatever diamonds that I have been given,
You have imbibed, and wet my eyelids
With your sweet Psalm of solace.
I am now saturated with content.
Our journey continues to blossom and harvest,
As happiness bubbles forth,
From the newness and fullness of our lives.
We share equally in our sorrows,
And reap together, the joys of Heaven’s banquet.
Beloved, I long to be Your obedient doll,
A puppet – not in a whirl of shadows - ,
But a receptive channel of wisdom,
Full of adoration and ecstatic symphonies.
Thus will I sing Your soothing beatitudes,
Permeating a perennial beauty,
Into the splendour of each Soul.
