One Little Thorn One Big Trouble

I find it amazing that most of the time we never get hurt

Our bodies have weathered every storm right from the start

It is when something just isn't right we wonder ?

What is wrong with my foot ?

Why does my back hurt ?

Ouch that smarts when I hit my finger a certain way

Then silly me I forget about it until a week later when I hit the same spot again

Brilliant I tell you there is something there

Pull the needle out and start poking

That looks deep

Under each layer of skin I go

I can see it now

It looks like a splinter

What a a relief to have that gone

Now let it heal and soon I will be back to normal again

You will think next time I will be a little more careful

Probably not

This is where common sense should take over

Part of me thinks I am invincible

The other part of me says what are you crazy?

You have been watching too much t.v.

So many hero's to save the day

I have to remind you in real life it doesn't work that way

You have to look long and hard at the situation

See what the underlying problem is

Then the rest is easy

Don't stop until you get the best results

Doctors are only people who try to helpsssssssssssssssssssssssss

Moving on I just fell asleep

I tried t type out a few thoughts in my mind

So I can tell my body I respect you and you have served me well

I will try to make sense of your keen insight to was is wrong

It is funny when the writing is on the wall

But we just don't see it

We pass by it many times and still don't notice

I guess we just lose focus on our health and becareful those little things add up

With a little time and patience

We are back on track and ready
