Our Friendship. A Sonnet, Dedicated To Surabhi Kaura
Like the petals of the lotus flower,
This Friendship lies. Like a sweet butterfly,
Within the seeds of its cocoon,
Waiting to burst forth into infinity.
And as the indigo-tinted moon,
Peeping out on a starlit night,
Yet loses not its grandeur,
So too, our closeness, enchants the heavenly stars.
Sweet Surabhi, this Heart cascades roses of Gratitude,
And its Delight is boundless.
Drinking the nectar from your Fountain of Soulfulness,
My Soul emerges from a rainbow, coloured with joyful tears.
O Chinmoy! Bind me in the aroma of Your sweetness,
To reciprocate her selfless Love.
