Our Passions that light up our lives

Updated on January 10, 2011

Passion for someone

So much in love

Enjoying the beauty of nature, watching the sunset with too much anticipation, as if it will never rise or set again the following the day…. the truth is it’s being together that makes the sight seeing more enjoyable and meaningful….the thought of having someone brings out the extraordinary from the ordinary; the beauty beyond beauty; and meanings beyond words.  When you feel those, you are in the state of passion.    When kissing means more than two lips touching each other; when kissing means more of affection, and unexplainable intensity…… Yes that is passion…. When your feeling for a person is so intense that you love him or hate him at the same time….when you feel you love him so much…..and in a moment you almost hate him and forget all about him then miss him afterwards, no doubt that is Passion….

Passion is an extreme

Passion should always be associated with happiness

So passion is an extreme….. when you’re passionately in love, you will not need a dictionary to define what you feel…naturally you will know….. and you should know…. so that you can set your limitations…. Passion should always be associated to happiness, too much of it may not be good for you…. and might cause unhappiness to you too

Find your other passions

Don't address Passion to one Person

Then always remember that "PASSION" is not always address to a person… know your other passions…. Passion for Arts, Passion for Foods, Passions for chocolates, Passion for music, Passion for dogs, Passion for books, clothes, movies, shoes,hobbies..etc.etc.

Passion for solitude

No matter how much you love a person, you should not make him a center of your world, same with your love ones and friends.  It is always important to have passion for "a once in a while solitude", that is to manage to acquire happiness even when you are all by yourself…remember we can never rely our happiness to others.

And lastly, the passion that never fades,   A Passion for our LORD…. that is the kind of passion that we should retain in our hearts, because our Lord is someone we can always rely on…..HE is the happiness that will always last….

Passion for our God
