PASSIONATELY INSANE - What Is your Passion?

Sigh....
Sigh....

PASSION PEOPLE!!! ha

Ok, another hubber IslandVoice inspired this little writing today on a facebook comment. So, here I am writing a hub about a brief moment on a social site! But you see I was having "writer's block" for quite a while, so when something inspires me...I go for it!!! So here it is.....

WHAT IS YOUR PASSION? HMMMMMM?

Well mine is LOVE, music, purple flowers, laughter, kisses, dreams, LOVE and LOVE! ha.....What about you? I was thinking about LOVE today. What else is new? People close to me know how very passionate I am and they know how intense I can really get!! I mean LOVE is like a whole lifetime experience! It must be savored and devoured at all times!!!!

Amen to that!!!!

No worries, I am in the real world. It is fun to dream of loving someone forever and building a future with someone who you never want to lose because you love them. Makes sense doesn't it? But unfortunately I also know from past experiences that it doesn't always happen the way you plan it and sometimes we make the wrong choices. Sometimes you try really hard and years disappear and then one day you wake up and realize that it just isn't working! And it may not be your fault either! Afterall you gave it all that you had and then some. You really thought you were doing the right thing.....

So, I think a strong foundation is "key" when it comes to LOVE. Friendship and love in a real world and not just during the "honeymoon period" is what makes LOVE last. This I believe is the answer.

What about other passions? Are you an artist at heart or someone who wants to travel? Have you put away your dreams for a very long time? Do you always put others ahead of your passion? Well, now is the time to take the lost moments back and start with little steps. I remember when I was younger and I used to read my dad's National Geographic magazines. These magazines I believe were the reason for my interest in traveling the world. I thought to myself, one day I will shoot for this magazine and travel and run in the deserts of far away places! Take my camera in a sandstorm and document the moment! Yes, I can go wherever I want and take photo's of whatever I want!!!! Bliss......

Ok, maybe I did not shoot for National Geographic but it did inspire me to become a photographer. I shot for plenty of other magazines in the late 90's and also took photo's of a lot of interesting people. Some of my subjects were famous and some were not but I enjoyed every single moment of it! LOVE shooting really interesting faces! If anything my photography inspires me in everything I do even if I'm not actually shooting with my camera. When I write a song I imagine a whole scenario as if I was shooting it. Or if I am writing or working on a project I can visualize the whole thing! I see it as if it is a scene in a movie.....SO I am still living and experiencing one of my passions.

How about you?

I too have been having writers block, and it took my daughters uninformed friend's remark about digital art not being art, to send me on a frenzy to write again. Like you, i am passionate about life, love, art, music...insanely! I'm glad to trigger something in you to write again. But i know i can't take all the credit for the inspiration, ehem! LOVE! Love makes us crazy G! Everything you said here about passion is all true. Will share in my fb and twitter.

Do you think of yourself as a visual thinker? Or more verbal?

That is really an interesting question Ryan! I do think I am a visual thinker FIRST. Meaning I visualize it first before it rolls off the tongue! But yet I am very verbal person! LOVE to talk and tell stories....LOVE talking about the past.....to a fault.....BUT......the point is that I visualize just about everything.....Everything in my life now I have visualized in some shape or form years ago.....interesting to see how all turns out!!! What about you? G

I'm visual as well. I think it stems from having a visual artist for a father.

Oh man G, had a fine comment for you, hit the wrong key or something and it got wiped out. But we won't let that spoil this up-beat Hub. So, here it goes again: Writers Block is hereby declared over for Ms.GPage! Read All About It! Ah, oh well. Loved this positive write G. Your beautiful soul and zest for life shines through almost every sentence. Used to read Nat Geo too, liked the animal pics best. So, how about we go eat some peaches by a waterfall sometime, or better yet, under the Peachoid!..LOL!
