POETRY- MY SON

Source

You came into this world

Three months premature

You are my tiny angel

You are my little boy

I hadn't been a father

When you fit inside my hand

And then from that moment

A boy became a man

My entire world and life

In an instant disappeared

This tiny little miracle

Gave me reason to be here

It was unconditional love

From the instant he arrived

He would instantly become

The love of my life

But it never came easy for him

The incubator he was inside

For nearly three long months

Breathing tubes and many wires

As he opened those little eyes

He knew that I was around

During the hardest time of my life

True meaning is what I found

From the first time I held you

You were always number one

Your forever my little man

My life, the one, my son

Your now six years old

You stick out in the crowd

Little buddy you made my life

Little buddy you make me proud

I love you son

The poem is priceless!

Movie Master, thanks so much. He is my little pal. Ahh, that hits home. It is a true story. He was bron 13 weeks early and weighed a pound. He actually dropped under a pound after birth. A miracle to say the lease. He was born at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Their staff was wonderful and I am forever in their debt. I will never forget them.
