Peaceful Sights Can Soothe Your Heart.

peace of mind

Sunshine making the Ocean glisten.

What a beautiful sight..!

Sparkling like a diamond

Under a bright light..

Closest friend is by my side,

Warmth of sunshine on my back.

For me it gets no better,

There´s nothing that I lack.

Home sweet home for everyone,

May be a different place,

but the feeling of ´belonging´

brings smiles to everyone´´s face.

Bouganvilla hanging down,

in shades of purple through to pink,

Fill my senses and my heart,

absorbing my surroundings as I think.

I think of all the happy times,

Negative thoughts are banned.!

My mind´s eye watches the children

Running, playing in the sand.

The innocence of childhood

ensconsed within my heart,

The only sadness creeping in

is that we´ll have to part.

But the stars at night will be the same,

Wherever we may be.

And the sun that makes the water glisten

Is the same on lakes and seas..

The beauty of this quiet day,

will stay with me forever,

Another blessed time we´ve shared,

So our friendship ne´er will sever.

Thank you oeansider.

I´m learning to see beauty in places other than the ocean, bcause that´s where I always want be.

If your name says it all, then I am quite envious.

Dear oceansider, hanks for retirning to my page.

I loved living at the coast (an island)for 20 yrs and

nothing compares, in my book. I absoltely loved it, but sadly circumstances change. Now I live in the countryside. That´s why I was curious about your hubname. I long to be near the sea again

Take care an thanks again.

oceansider 4 years ago

You say you want to be near the sea again...well how about taking a trip and spending some time by the ocean. I think that living in the countryside must be great. When I see movies like Pride and Prejudice and the others of Jane Austen's, it makes me want to stay in the countryside of England for awhile. My parents did that for a month many years back and loved it.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Take care, Helen

Hi Colin... Shouldn´t you be in bed at this time of the night????

Not that I am commplaining. I get withdrawel symptoms if I don´t see your lovely smile for a while.

I din´t know we could put poetry on The FB site, I thought it had to be literally ´´ music´´ or a film.

Thank you so much.
