Peck, Peck, Pecking

What is that pecking, you beg from me?

Crazy parrot in the cage.

Peck, peck, pecking at his floor

He will not stop or disengage

He talks non stop, that crazy bird

then returns to pecking on his floor.

He mimics every word he's heard

I scream, but he just pecks some more.

Can not endure the peck and chatter

perpetual pecking on his floor

"hello bird, meet the cat"

Quoth the parrot, never more!

And the ads they've posted here are too funny! "Your parrot will love you. Earn your parrot's love in minutes. You'll never be bitten again." "Walk-in bird cages. Modular. Expandable." etc. Oh My. I rarely notice ads on HP but these are too funny.

Nellieanna! Didn't notice them until you mention it. Hysterical. Well, the cage would accomodate the cat!

Cute...however my sister has had her Parrot for over twenty years...And it never stops saying "I'm a pretty girl"...or it laughs and whistles constantly...But this did make me laugh Arb.

Hi b.I don't generally do cute, Couldn't help myself. It may have been the beer.

I'll give you the beers and I'll have a small white Zin, even knowing how provencial it is.

Hi Rhonda, To laugh is divine. Silly bird should have tried laughing instead of pecking. Obviously, thought he was a wood pecker. Thanks for reading. Be well

Hahaha, yes parrots can be that way. Why my parrots, 'Sam' & 'Darling', just seem hell bent on eating away the entire newspaper I lie in their litter.

Messy but I love them.

Hello Qudsia! I hope you are well. Thank you for dropping in. Haven't seen anything from you lately. Assuming you are busy. Be well.

I couldn't resist reading this one when I saw the cat with the feather. Thanks for the chuckle. Loved it, arb! :-) Sharing.

I was met at the door by my boxer once. There were feathers clinging all over his face. I surveyed the room and found he had eaten the couch. Ever since, I cringe at feathers! Thanks Victoria.
