Haiku Rhythm

This sculpture of Kippie Moeketsi, one of the great figures of South African jazz is situated just outside the old Kippie's Jazz Club in downtown Johannesburg.

I am always lifted when listening to African Jazz and this haiku tells the story.

Thankyou Peardiver, Sfrentz and xstatic, your comments are much appreciated. All the best to you all for the festive season and a wonderful year ahead. Russ

(PS and the white knees? That's what happens when you go back to Africa for a holiday after living in the UK for many years).
