Plow the Field Twice

The last time I was there
All the flowers were in the air
There were so many
Then there weren’t any
You could say that’s my life
I wonder if you can plow the field twice?

The girls were in rows
But as everybody knows
Sometimes you get it wrong
Sometimes you don't belong
But I thought I’d come back anyway
I’m gonna’ plow the field twice

Yeah baby I’m back again
But it ain't with the same old line
Let me plant some more flowers
I'll let you pick 'em this time

I let the dust settle
It buried the old petals
But you saw a flash of light
On your finger that night
Where you’ve been all my life?
I plowed the field twice

Yeah baby I’m back again
But it's not the same old line
Let me plant some more flowers
I'll let you pick 'em this time

Plow the field twice
Plow the field twice
I’m coming back for more
Plow the field twice
Plow the field twice
