Poem: A Smile
A Smile
As she smiles before me
I melt into my shadow
Warmed and soothed I erupt with purpose
An infinite well from which I drink
Diving inwards
Unquenchable,
Insatiable,
I absorb more, more, more,
Awaiting the next as deeper I fall
Closer to the origin of no end
Closer to the birthplace of all
Where joy is the delectable dark chocolate ecstasy
I fall
Tumbling, I fall
Relinquishing preconceived notions
Freeing myself of all but the moment
Where here I see her true love
Life
Her
Love
