Poem: Fate's Wicked Dance
Fate's Wicked Dance
Because we're all dancers on the razor of fate,
One slip and it's curtains, and then it's too late.
So keep on your dancing, kick up your heels,
and leave all your worries to Luck's spinning wheels.
You see we're all dancing to Life's Wicked Beat,
she'll confuddle your mind, and tangle your feet.
Keep your eyes on ambition, your heart on the tune.
You can take on the mountains, or leap to the moon.
For we're not all puppets, all tied up with strings.
We're bodies, and minds and a most complex of things.
We've beaten carnage, and chaos, war, famine and death,
so we'll keep on dancing, till dancing's all we've got left.
Does this inspire you? Let me know
