Poem - Love Apart

Poem - Love Apart

Plagued with the gift of silence
Never a normal moment
Feelings of deep passion
Living with constant torment
The past a curse
Resurrected in the now
We suffer apart
Always wondering how
The truth deeply embedded
Lodged in our heart
Always passing in the night
Never knowing how to start
The unknowable upon us
Beauty beckoning so cruelly
Living life as a dream
We constantly beg for mercy
Ease your mind my love
Let time heal the pain
Destiny moves at it's own pace
Will we be together again?
