Song Lyrics - Share My Loneliness With You

Sharing My Loneliness With You

Why keep it all to myself?
This lonely life
Talking to someone else
Maybe she can save my life

Why keep it all to herself?
Her lonely life
Talking to someone else
Maybe I can save her life

I'm gonna share my loneliness with you
I'm gonna share my pain with you
I'm gonna share my sorrow with you
Maybe you'll know what to do
Maybe you'll share with me too

Why keep it to ourselves?
Our lonely life
Loving me and not someone else
You just saved my life

I'm gonna share my loneliness with you
I'm gonna share my pain with you
I'm gonna share my sorrow with you
Maybe you'll know what to do
Maybe you'll share with me too

I'm bringing my pain to you
Do you know what to do?
You bring yours to me too
We'll make each other feel new

Unless you want to cry
Tears of joy and not of why
I need someone, I won't lie
Let love live so we will never die

I'm gonna share my loneliness with you
I'm gonna share my pain with you
I'm gonna share my sorrow with you
Maybe you'll know what to do
Maybe you'll share with me too

Oh, the power of sharing, the beauty of sharing. Yes, by all means let's share feelings, ideas, experiences and prospectives; it is after all a way to enrich ourselves by giving and receiving

When you give, you share.... we can all help one another...

An invitation to share despair...

Sorry, I'll be busy doing my hair

A tempting offer, but I must decline

You deal with your's, I'll deal with mine

Sorry SP you caught me at a moment when I'm reluctant to expose myself to negative vibes.

Good luck though.

Christopher... I hear you... it's more a comment about lonely people.... they are out there. Like Mellencamp said:

"It's a lonely old night

Can I put my arms around you?"

I'm not in despair at all but I try to write about different things through another's eyes... Thanks for the comments and have a beer....

Thanks SP,

But I prefer whiskey, and as George Thorogood sang..."I Drink Alone".

Being alone and being lonely aren't always the same thing.

Write On.

I'm ok with being alone... I think maybe that's how poets or wannabe's roll anyway....

Your poem reminded me something I had already got through and probably somebody feeling right now.

We all probably have similar stories Never... the challenge is how I can uniquely describe mine with originality minus the pretension.

Amazing...Only two adjectives ( BRAVO ) and both are the word lonely, as in " this lonely life " and " our lonely life "...Very revealing on a subconscious level...Larry

Thanks again maven. You amaze me because you are really looking at structure and notice things that I don't even know about my own work.
