Poem to Poetry

Poetry is set in motion, and by the ever busy hand,

conveying a message of beauty, for all to understand.

A rhyming configuration, so placed upon the page,

A reflection of a life well lived, could be in any age.

An artist with a pen in hand, a pallet of the paper kind,

Rendering for us, a gentleness, given by a caring mind.

Is a written declaration, and by a loving soul, so rare,

In every well placed stanza, marked, verses, all to share.

There's meter and a rhythm, to show, we're in this world to care.

Every word displayed, a picture well depicted, not an inch to spare.

An in the end of the piece so made, a conclusion, by all is drawn,

There's hope for each, and a peaceful life, to witness at the dawn.

This was so well and beautifully said, to match the beautiful flowers that you used to illustrate it with.

Beautiful poem and photos of pretty flowers to add to the content. A poet's pen is artistry and does paint visual pictures in the mind.

I wrote " Ode to the Rhyming Word" in order to give poetry a more fitting and respectful tribute.
