The Wedding Day
The Bell Rings
The wedding bell tolled
Gallantly marched the bride
As a leaf on a slow flowing
Stream down the aisle of
The church shepherded by her
Loving father witnessed by
Those she loved and those that
Loved her.
Their faces were the faces of
Those drunk with happiness.
The beauty of the bride in the
Wedding gown stopped clocks
Kilometers around ticking for
A minute.
The angels in heaven sang
Joyous hymns while witnessing
Two forms merge into one.
The smell of the wedding cake
Was all over the world with
Its aroma filling hearts with
Surprise and gladness
