Poems and Poetry: Joy My Love
Joy My Love
As I looked skyward, I saw
The North Star twinkled at me
Maybe Joy, my love was looking
Up to it too I threw a kiss
Believing the kiss will bounce
The North Star and come back
To locate her on earth
Any time I think of her
My heart turns into a small furnace
Sending heat pulsating throughtout
My body
Hold back a waterfall
I might as well have tried holding
By breathe for four hours
Your embrace is like snail’s protective shell.
