With God All Things Are Possible

Building My Tresure In Heaven

My life was no longer mine

So much had been lost to

The devouring cataract of time

In my situation, whatever was

Going to happen no longer

Bothered me, I’d been excluded

By my earthly colleagues in the

Scheme of things but instead of

Feeling threatened and afraid

I felt relieved, even excited

Some weight had been lifted

Off my shoulders

Many times I’d walked on a

Tightrope without a safety

Net beneath and I didn’t care

My senses had been assaulted

With bittersweet memories

Before I learned to have

Courage as my breakfast

Steadfastness as my lunch

And magnanimity as my dinner

In order to build my treasure

In where that matters – Heaven

Believing that with God all things

Are possible.

This poem speaks truth. It is so very hard to reach this level of awareness, however. The courage it takes to fully connect to the Lord's reality while stepping back from our need for acceptance in the world is a great life-long challenge.

Blessings to you in your future writing, and thanks for sharing this.

Wayseeker thanks for your comment. It will take a level of discipline of mind to pay less attention to earthly wealth.

Eddy thanks. It is necessary that all of us should start preparing for our ultimate home which is heaven right now before it is too late.
