Poetry Life Spritual Uplifting Dreams Life Days & Nights

Basic Theme For Those Who Dream

My pillow
holds my head
the shoulder
of "Jesus”
for blessed dreams
countless breaths
nights of rest
in peaceful dress.

The night
is not as long
nor fearful
with an ocean song
that rushes to and fro
wakening claiming
a garden of hope.

A new morning
feeling free
thumbs in my pockets
of faded jeans.

The tide
has turned
over again.

To cut out a brand new gem.

Through the brush feeling the rush
of lightened pigments from darkened dust.

Thank you ahorseback. In reality it may sound odd but trust me being solo for two years and being tested to the point where the plate flows over this works for me. Glad you enjoyed this poem and the lighter side of my writing.

Thank you drpastorcarlotta. I too imagine God has the power to connect those he knows need others at certain times and blesses a connection through divine ways. I also thank him for people like you who inspire and lift others up daily.

What a wonderful way to start each day --

with an ocean song

that rushes to and fro

wakening claiming

a garden of hope.
