Poem/Christian Poetry that Can Lift up Someone's Spirit

I heard a sound

A rustling in the wind

A force moving through the atmosphere

I felt the power of his might

His presence could not be ignored

I had to stand still and pay attention

I could not move left

I could not move right

I realized, he wanted me to stop

Take notice.

Something told me I could not put this off,

Till tomorrow.

SO, I watched, listened and prayed,

I realized, it was the Lord

Demanding my audience.

I was compelled to see and hear

What, he prepared for me.

I heard his sound

Responded to his call

And it changed my life

Nothing about us is hid from the almighty

Nothing we think

Feel or believe

Nothing about our lives

Our Steps,

Our sitting downs and our standing ups.

He sees it all and knows it all

Yes, he loves us

There is a spiritual force working

In your favor

And it is called FAVOR

It is the supernatural move

Of God in your life

Opening doors that were closed

Lifting you up from among the crowd

Blessings and promotions

Come from out of the blue.

You ask yourself, how, why or who

And all of the time

It is God’s Love

Sprinkling Favor down on you!

I woke up one day

And saw a better way

Decided to live for Christ

Walk in the fruits of the spirits

All my life.

He gave me Love, Joy and Peace

Made me strong in my

Taught me to walk

Gentleness, goodness and faith

He allowed meekness and temperance

To show me the way.

If you are ever tired of

Looking down, Feeling down,

Sitting down

Try Looking UP!

If you are ever tired of

Being alone, Feeling alone

Living alone

Try showing love

To someone

Who is lonely.

Thanks, Can you tell me why my poetry that speaks about the other side of life gets rejected on hubs, Life is not all cotton candy, not even for Christians. I wish the other side of my poetry would be accepted too. I mean life can be disappointing and sad sometimes.

I sense a gentle spirit and a servant. The other side of life... If the dark side is very different, and you can't shine a light on it, pray on it. God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. When and if he want your dark side to be known, he will make a way for you. Everything in season.

I have been keeping up a good front. There was a time when everything was falling in place. Favor was undeniable. The work was unstoppable. It was like walking through walls.

The church split. Neither side would listen to the Lord. They were both sure in their confusion. Meanwhile, those in the trenches got stranded in an untenable position. I haven't found another church. Its turning into years. I read this in hopes of feeling better. It is anointed, but I feel worse. I can go on, but my fire is smoldering.

Great poem.
