Poetry isn't boring
Poetry isn't Boring
Why must these be about life or death?
Why can’t they be about my bad breath?
I’m bored reading about love and sex,
Or to the degree you hate your ex.
Please oh please, give me something mundane;
Please oh please, do not drive me insane.
Here’s a small tip to keep it simple,
Look in the mirror, describe that pimple.
Ok, ok, that might be too gross,
But my friend wrote on picking his nose.
Perhaps an approach to be more bland,
Would be to write of an average man.
When you write about learning to dance,
I don’t need a phil’sophical stance.
The deeper I get in this lecture,
I can’t help but second conjecture.
The less of you I wanted to know,
The more introspective you should go.
Was in a playful mood. This poem is just for fun.
