Why Should You Fail While Ours are Succeeding

You Can Be A Success

Why do other survive and you don’t

Why do others succeed and you fail

Why do others win and you lose

Why do others soar and you sink

Everyone has within him/her latent

Innate abilities that when developed

Can make him/her excel

Yours probably need to be trained

And refined; and it can be done

Every problem has some possibilities

Show some enthusiasm in life no matter

What you’re going through and you’ll

Turn stumbling block into a stepping stone

You’ll make it if you’re ready to invest

Time, energy and effort

Find a need and fill it if you want to be

A success

Begin today; winning starts with beginning

Let me quote a line from an Indian movie: Success wear pants down...Follow your heart and do what makes you happy...an interesting poem Tony...

I like the idea of turning stumbling block into stepping stone.

If you want something, you just have to go and make it happen, Nothing will be handed to us on a plate.

hey Tony let me give you a high five for this one. It's so inspiring and full of hope and promise because you make the reader feel like he/she could and should reach for the stars - your words make you a poetic cheerleader for the human race - sending you warm wishes and good energy from lake erie time ontario canada 5;39am

My father is a published poet. It did not happen overnight. It took a lot of pain and suffering. When I was young I watched him stuff a poem in to an envelope every single day. He would send one poem a day and did so for 5 years.

He also got back hundreds of rejections, but he didn't let it stop him. Eventually the right poem got to the right publisher. Then another and another did to. The more he got published the easier it got. What I have learned from him is to never give up.

It is interesting that you learned not to give up from your dad. Many were not that lucky.
