Pool of Life
Updated on October 5, 2013
In my mind I see a pool
Of clearest water calm and cool
Which can heal the hardest soul
That washes feeling makes one whole
That takes away pain guilt and sorrow
And gives again hope for tomorrow
To go there needs no invitation
No cause for deeds or inhibition
Only love felt within your heart
Is needed to tilt the worlds apart
And open this portal that you may see
This pool immortal in its infinity
And all it takes is one little trip
A wrinkle it makes in time we do slip
And I do arrive on unicorn
And you on silver steed reborn
Water of crystal none can compare
It simply exists, it simply is there
This pool it runs clear, clear as the mind
When all it can hear is peaceful and kind
And should one simply place in a toe
Then a foot into rippled waters it goes
And up through limbs it steeply climbs
And swirls to vortex in eternal time
Spinning gently through body it cleans
And works relentlessly until it gleams
And so it does it’s magic you see
The magic it glows through you and me
On stone to each side writing so clear
That all who enter, shall re-appear
In glory of spirit, in glory of sight
In glory appear it, in glory unite
This place is of crystal of purest white
Making heart bristle, gives back sight
This place is of gold giving its strength
That holds the old within arms length
This place is of blue that healing begin
That all of its hue be brought within
This place of green that life may be seen
That all who enter reborn so its seems
This place is of orange that all may find
Ground we forage, the ground we mind
This place is of yellow as coming of age
That brings to this fellow heart of a sage
Let all men know of this place of peace
That they may grow in life release
Yet these men they must learn
That though the heart it does burn
Can be cooled by the water
Within here none burn
The pool of life this place is called
It gives its light to one and all
