Poem: "Pray for Peace"
Pray for Peace?
The unrest
which slowly
started to
increase
Pray for Peace
That God
will soon
Make it cease
Because
It can be
very costly
to maintain
that Peace
Once the war
already started
It simply
spreads like
a disease.
Inflicting
Those that
are wary
Spreading
Its viruses
To everyone
in its way
From the west
to the east
I pray that the
Most High God
Will forgive
The sincere
Protect and bless
Spread his joy
Not only this
Holidayseason
But throughout
all the rest
Those who prays
Earnestly
Seek God’s truth
That in their time
Of harvest
Their seeds
will bring forth
Abundance
Of fruits.
Bless his
children
On this
fine day
As the evils
of this earth
Threatens
To afflict
this same man
Created
from the dirt
Let your spirit
Intervene
Deny them
the mark
Of evil's beast
With blessings
never before
seen
As we all
continue to
Pray for peace.
