Precious are the moments,
within the arms of love,
each touch and glance are deepest felt
in souls entwined and of,
loving thoughts and caring steps,
to make a life complete,
for lovers sharing the fruits of life,
in blissful sighs released.
Precious are expressions,
simplicity in thoughts,
where selfless acts and love detracts,
from life’s mundane resorts,
and steps aside and opened doors,
are fondest words from loving hearts,
imbue our lives with richest warmth,
surrendered souls an art.
Precious is our dreaming,
unencumbered hopes on wings,
where loves rewards and joy accords,
the happiness it brings,
when two are one and love pervades,
a life once empty now in truth,
what’s precious becomes a light of hope,
to nurture life and doubt remove.
Precious are our past mistakes,
for they have brought us here,
and taught us of our folly,
and cleansed us with our tears,
for growing is our quest of life,
and in sharing our soul our will,
but in truly finding blissful love,
we are blessed and ever filled.
