Prose - I Don't Know What To Do With Your Love

You say you love me
Even though I won't let it show
Once we were together
But our minds didn't know
That a feeling
Never dies
That love
Never lies
And in your hour of understanding
Again fate intervenes
Though you saved me
By entering my dreams
I am unable to show
How your soft embrace
Has placed a smile
Upon my faraway face
Once, I lived in despair
Alone with my choices
Surrounding me
With disapproving voices
And while I struggle
With right and wrong
I have your unconditional love
To keep me strong
I could never ask for you
To wait for me
But if the time comes
Then you will surely see
How you touched my life
And kept me whole
For if not for you
I would never find what life stole

Very nice...I haven't written anything with rhyme lately, so this was a good change for me to read. You have a great piece right here. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful poem Suburban Poet. Both hands in that photo, it's almost there but not quite. Love the picture, goes really well with the poem.
