Prose - You Have No Idea

I may seem like everyone else
But you have no idea
The things I think
Like looking up
From the bottom of the sea
To watch the birth of the tide

I look like everyone else
But you have no idea
The things I think
Like swimming
Through a cloud
Just to see the other side

I work like everyone else
But you have no idea
The things I think
Like typing
Until flowers bloom
So the bees can collide

I love like everyone else
But you have no idea
The things I think
Like making love
To a stranger
Just to kiss her as she cried

I sleep like everyone else
But you have no idea
The things I think
Like never waking up
And living my dream
Because that’s where you reside

@Ama - That's deep... I think people are afraid to be themselves sometimes. So we become trendy and follow the leader.... To me I'm the guy you see everyday in the lobby of the building where I work going to lunch or coming back or whatever... and we all kind of look at each other and smile and nod occasionally... but they don't know I'm the crazy thinking Suburban Poet....
