An example of a concrete poem - a poem for kids

Concrete poems are different forms of poetry and examples of a concrete poem are shown below. A concrete poem should look like the shape of the item you are describing. I chose to write a concrete poem about a fruit - the pear. A concrete poem is an easy poem to write. The words don't have to rhyme. It's all about the shape of the object of which you are describing. There is no set limit on how long or how short the poetry verses have to be. The shape poem for kids is a great tool in teaching poetry to kids. If you can tell, concrete poem the title 'A Pear' is actually turned on its side so as to resemble the stem of the pear. This is just another easy poem to write. It is a great way of teaching poetry to kids.

Oh how cute is that! Great way to teach children how to describe things and compose poetry and beautiful art. I've done one of those making a Christmas tree from the uses of wood. So much fun to do and quite pretty too.

Have a nice day,

Great idea for anyone, really, to take on. It has a great visual effect, which I think is good to use as a medium for words also. Thanks for the idea.
