Pudding Boy

One Could Only Be So Lucky

Recently we bought pudding at the supermarket

I love all flavors

Chocolate is definitely so delicious

So in a matter of days I had forgotten all about it

My wife brought it to my attention

It wasn't long after that

I had my spoon in the pudding

On an express route right to my mouth

My wife loves pudding too

Growing up I was a Jello boy

The years have changed me

I will always love both

Given the choice

Pudding it is

I remember all the pudding commercials

Done by Bill Cosby

He would always get me to laugh

I am glad they come in small individual containers

I eat less

When we have the bigger containers

I don't know when to stop

I would keep eating

I would beg for one more mouthful please

There is homemade pudding and instant pudding

I don't think there is a pudding I don't love

Butterscotch, vanilla, tapioca too

Don't worry I will save some for you

Thanks for tempting my palate as I go to the market later today to get one of those treasures. I appreciate it expressed poetically, which will stay with me as I try to choose which flavor :-)

Ah, yes that good old days and Jello pudding. I miss pudding a lot. I could make it here but it just isn't Jello and the ready made in cups give such small portions and takes so many pennies. Thanks for the memories. Send a box of a variety of Jello puddings please. lol

Gypsy Rose Lee It is nice to share a memory that other people have had and loved too. Pass the pudding and a smile. I wish people were like pudding then I could say I never met a person I didn't like. Thanks for reading and sharing good memories that last forever.
