Pulse Of Lovers’ Stream (poem)

A silent scent which lingers from a dream

A wonder waiting by the star decked sea

That music made in hearts in harmony

That promise pulsing long a lovers’ stream

Some whispered whim to spark a memory

Some lucid longing fires a fancy’s gleam

When magic molds each moment to extreme

When kisses cast imagination free

And here we sit as wishes tick us by

What bars us from our place in lovers’ flow

What clouds our minds from purpose which is true

Within our arms are wings to help us fly

Within our lips are paths we come to know

Within our sacred realm of I love you

Mh, you never disappoint. This is such a lovely poem with the perfect ending! Great video.

Oh, I went back to the one you posted last night, where I was unable to view the video and now I am, so amazing as well, of course.

My computer is messing up, as I do not see the beautiful picture Debbie describes here.

Martin what great lines you have created here, I like the alliteration used and how you used them on your stressed syllables like a mixture of old alliterative syllabics in iambic pentameter. Awesome. Jamie

Had to hit many buttons on this gem. The picture you chose to go with the poem really enhances words in your work.

Martin, I really enjoyed the soft imagery. Not every man can create such verbal beauty!

Martin, I love that love is your driving force. You are so romantic, positive and secure enough with yourself to cherish life and the lady in it. Touche, my friend!
