I Love Spring

Source
Source

I stepped outside on this April morning

The sun trying to stretch out the skies

I feel it melting my winter blues away

With each step I take,

I feel more alive

I feel the ice as it breaks

Shards of diamond December

Glistening with light

Fragments Scatter from me

Until they are out of sight

Underneath these diamonds

Lies Springs's muddy floor

Seasons are changing quick

If you blink at all

You might miss spring and summer

And Jump right into fall.

Spring is in the air

Are you ready for spring?

Spring is a time to Shed That winter Coat, a time of light sweaters and fun sandals.

Every season has its style But I think Spring fashion is the best.

I have written more poetry in the past, but I hope to return to this interest soon. Good luck with your future poems.
