Questioning what is Unquestionable is Existentialist

What is life...

that makes life so hard..

and in life hardly thinking at the cause...

least we be found guilty of getting in our way...

taking the world for granted in a way most profane to our eyes - and His...

admitting to both the mistakes that cause the terrors...

terrors we place to nature for the credit or to a maker to draw a debit for our sakes...

leaving us something to say for ourselves if that were possible.

No one that we know leaving this life alive...

to tell us of our faults or perfections...

we therefore leave the subject up for speculation to find reason...

for the unreasoned part of our existence...

telling all that all is fate and fating ourselves to our existence...

for we will not turn back our course...

for in our estimation who can blame the man who calls the devil...

a man determined to his post and brave to stand against the good...

Telling others of secret shadows that we partake of...

so justified as we justify ourselves...

Tell me then oh noble sirs..

did the devil give you your due at birth?

Then did he birth you just the same...

even allowing a birth of shame...

where did you come up with life...

that you should cause strife with your lips...

lips that cannot seem to tell truth from err...

and in faulting you I fault myself but perhaps in education I am allowed...

to tell you now that you go too far...

Nothing holding gun to head is permitted to move a finger...

or the gun to force an act...

even to die is at your disposal to find therein a better course...

and conscience to take to the grave that you run from...

with as much horror as you can permit yourselves to feel.

Then ask we anew, what is Life?

And in defining it we say adieu.

Your story has touched my inner most being God craeted. My Son, was diagnosed with ALS. Now unable to walk-as many other things,I'd like to say it's not fair. But in a broken world all is fair. That is only off set when we know Jesus as our savior. Jesus suffered, bled & died, now at the right hand of God. At times I think maybe God calls those most dedicated to Him so they don't have to suffer what is coming in this world. But then what is happening with this evil ALS. Suffering. My heart breaks when I see suffering, especially my son. God could take me instead. But thats not the way it appears. My son spends his time listening to praise music, ministry messages. But #1 is he is witnessing for Christ, from the confinment of his wheelchair. He is TOTALLY sold out for Christ, and claims the healing that Jesus paid for. By His stripes we ARE HEALED!!!!!!!! And we confess it with our mouth every day, that he is HEALED. The tongue is sharper then a two edged sword, it is life or death. So we claim life in Christ Jesus.God be with you as you endure this awful illness. I heard you on Focus on the family. After this many years, you still speak well. Thank you for sharing and speaking out for Christ.
