Rainy Thoughts

Source

Rain, thunder, skies of gray,

Gloomy, frightful summer day,

Give us hope of sun to shine,

Hurry bring a brighter time.

Soaking wet the trees are seen.

Shaking drips on grass of green.

Blossoms from a flowering plant,

Scatter to the ground enhanced,

Source

Making room for buds to spread,

Out to turn their swelling heads,

Gently shaking fragrance sweet,

Continue as their elders flee.

Source

Rain, thunder, skies of gray,

Forget the wish of brighter days,

Tomorrow will be soon enough,

Forgive the rant and all that stuff.
