Reflections: The mind never sleeps only the body does.

The mind can also be contaminated
The mind can also be contaminated

The mind can also be contaminated with false information if we're not careful enough.

The mind can also be contaminated with false information, to prevent the mind from being infected, we can choose to examine every thoughts that seek entry into our minds before it is accepted as facts. What's appeared to be factual sometime may not always be true, we should check our facts through association of ideas, and use reason and logic to evaluate each and every ideas before it is accepted in our minds as valuable info.

From the quiet, seemingly tranquil waters of the human mind there arose a number of mermaids, each one more beautiful than the other, and each holding in their hand a pearl of such brilliance, that I had to cover my eyes. In this metaphor, we can visualized the tranquil water of the human mind as the cerebrospinal fluid, and the mermaids that arose from this fluid represent individual ideas, where each ideas are unique within itself, and forecast an intelligent which illuminates other minds.

I have heard it said, that if you find the leprechaun’s gold at the end of the rainbow, you will find not only the gold, but will also experience a sense of joy, never achieved on a human level. After giving it great thought, I decided to undertake this great journey. I did not know how long it would take but I was prepared to stay with it, regardless of the length of time; because I felt that the so called joy of human living and thinking was not fulfilling my inward need. I have been traveling for some years now. There have been times when I thought I was close, and at the end of my journey, but I was mistaken. But I will never give up even if I have to travel to eternity.

Have you ever heard a snowflake sing as it floated gently down to earth? Have you never listened to its melodious tones as it filled the air with song? What a symphony of sound is created as each snowflake joins the chorus in harmonious joy!

To Christianity:

We work in an infinite family business, which is run by God our Father and we – every man and woman – are his employees. Therefore, we are never out of work, because we are inseparable from God and are eternally engrossed in his business. There is no competition in our Employer’s business and there is no diminishing of supply, because our father has limitless supply.

Within the center of the ocean liner is a gyroscope. Its purpose is to keep the boat level and balanced, no matter how great a storm may occur. I metaphorically relate the purpose of this gyroscope to the function of a divine idea, which is within the consciousness of every human being on this earth. The presence of the divine idea prevents the individual from holding in thought anything of an evil or unloving nature, and protects the person from the unbalancing effect of evil or hate of the external world.

As I watched the oil riggers dig deeper and deeper into the ground, with their pneumatic drill searching for oil; I related this action metaphorically to my using a laser beam of thought, to penetrate deep into my consciousness, through the many layers of traditional and untraditional beliefs that mankind has used to cover and hide the “ ultimate truth “. All mankind is either subconsciously or consciously searching for this “truth “; and until they find it, they will never have an inward peace.

To Health Care:

It has been awhile now since we're working together to built these boats. We've called experts all across the nation to help built them. Among which were lawyers, doctors, teachers, policeman, fireman, mechanics, truck drivers, shoe shiners, you name it, there were there among us all, helping to built these boats. Some may have contributed in a different way, but at least they were there helping along the way. Now that we have raised our sails, we're ready to go. It will not be easy for they will be storms, and mountainous waves along the way which will try to sink our boats. We have come too far to give up. We should keep in mind building these boats to keep our health care cost floating across the sea was only the beginning, to prevent them from sinking, we must stir them pass the mountainous waves of filibuster so that we win this fight on health care reform for good.
