Reflections

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

All I see and all I do,

now seems to me,

a reflection of you.

My thoughts are filled

with your infections smile,

your body, your skin,

your lips beguile.

Infatuated, entrapped,

by your loving heart,

I’m wrapped.

Intoxicated

by your calm and grace,

your whispers soft,

and warm embrace.

Your soul resides

within my own,

our lives entwined

as lovers found.

A testament

to a fated union,

where love and life

a joined profusion.

Your touch a narcotic,

you kiss a dream,

your heart my companion,

our love I concede.

For what would I deny

in this blissful connection,

happiness I’ve sought,

is now my resurrection.

Through the eyes of a lover,

I now perceive the world,

and sacrifice my life,

to a higher ideal.

Together, discovery

will transform our lives,

a loving adventure,

tranquillity derived.
