Religion, the Tie That Binds ( a poem of inspiration)
Something that all have in common, in most every sacred corner of the earth,
The tie that so binds man to a god, the establishing of humanity's great worth.
As a personal belief of an all powerful creator, worshiped in faith by all, in kind,
A cultural belief, a creed, recorded in scriptural texts, of ethics that do so bind.
That of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Confucianism, Hinduism,Taoism, of peace,
Judaism, Jainism, Shinto, Sikhism, Zoroastrianism, all are so in tune, not to cease.
All grand musical scores of the ages, as India's Dharmic, Falun Dafa, China's own,
Each, as wonders of the human spirit, its members devoted in truth, are not alone.
The many sects, their honored precepts, all presented in every scriptural form,
Every kind of religious belief, revered, while respecting neighbor's, is the norm.
In Asia, Africa, Europe's sacred rights, island countries, North American shores,
The followers each to kneel, to bow, or stand, in precious worship by the scores.
Dedicated and humble devotees, of oceania, South America, Antarctica, the world,
The Native American tribes of Northern climes, bow heads, and banners to unfurl.
With deep reverence, to honor each kind, Religious beliefs, deserve all's respect,
Every nation, its own people decide, believe in unison, of all's faith, never to reject.
Since the beginning of all recorded time, a faith, believing in a supreme being,
The people of this whole wide world, a staunch devotion, of a creator, all seeing.
As the creator, god of us all, sits patiently awaiting every move, decision made,
Overseeing every human being, his own children, beloved, as all have prayed.
