Reluctant Robin ( a poem to inspire)
Red Robin...dancing your annual Spring ballet,
Making yourself quite at home, as if to say...
"I'm here...time to get up and smell the daisies",
"Get up sleepyheads, and get rid of those Lazies!"
You pretend to hide behind the new grapevine,
Taking your time...no care, if not a line to rhyme.
Your live and sing for today, live your life, as to play,
Not a worry for tomorrow...what your critics may say.
When I see your flight, the radiance found in your sight,
An uplifting in my spirit, I find, to make my day, sublime.
Means a new season is here, one so bright, of good cheer,
Then out of my bed, I climb, it's sunshine and warming time.
