Resolved (a Haiku)

A bright new year begins...
A bright new year begins...
As a new year dawns...
As a new year dawns...
As the old times pass on by...
As the old times pass on by...
and with each setting sun...
and with each setting sun...

Resolution time,

For a new year so sublime.

Forget not the past,

As we hope the good times last.

Every shortfall cast,

A better day comes at last.

The general scope,

Is well lined with seeds of hope.

As tomorrows come,

We'll address the beating drum.

Then we shall prevail,

Rejoice by the ringing bell.

Times of strife shall flee,

Accompanied by our glee.

Resolutions time,

As our lives complete the rhyme.

A more brilliant sunrise...
A more brilliant sunrise...

Good one! And the accompanying pictures are stunning, too.
