Right By My Side

The Comfort We Share

Not a word said

Only quick glances looking at each other

Each comfortable in our own skin

What do we make of this day

As we both found a peaceful hide away

I write while you take a cat nap

You wondering how long I will type

Me wondering how long will it be before you awake

As creative thoughts bounce off each other

I will try to catch them

Like catching a butterfly in the air

You come so close but then the butterfly disappears

My mind fresh and laid back

The best time to sit and relax

Maybe a writing maybe just time cherished

Each brings to the table there own little contribution

One that benefits will be forthcoming

In the days and the years ahead

I love the idea of creative thoughts being like butterflies...

Hi dream-on.

Eye contact, a soul speaking to a soul can be inspirational. Didn't I just read proof of it? Creatively done.
