Road Rage Blues
Updated on August 31, 2012
You tried to cut in front when patience was behind me for miles
I didn’t let you in and I enjoyed giving you one of those smiles
After you passed you tried to show me your middle finger
But I let it slide because then the hate would probably linger
Road Rage
All in my brain
Lately things make me feel insane
Road Rage
All on my mind
Better be careful
‘Cause I’m not feelin’ too kind
You flicked that cigarette which started bouncing everywhere
Even you can’t stand the smell of something that pollutes the air
I drove up next to you and stared at your uncaring face
But you kissed your middle finger and put me in my place
Road Rage
Gets in my brain
Makes me want to drive in your lane
Road Rage
Is making me blind
You better leave
‘Cause you won’t like what you find
I saw you speed up and ‘bout put your car into my trunk
I thought maybe I’d get a new side panel left from the last bump
But you caught yourself when you decided to look over your dash
That last text was almost more important than avoiding a crash
Road Rage
All in my brain
Lately things make me feel insane
Road Rage
All on my mind
Better be careful
‘Cause I’m not feelin’ too kind
You know you ran me right into the ditch
All because from one lane you decided to switch
I yelled at you while you kept on driving
You didn't care if I was livin' or dyin'
