Poem About the Snow - Romancing the Snow

Love the snow when it is falling

At the window

Romancing the snow

The snow is peeping

I came to look at it

It is hiding

But I can see it

Two inches now

Three inches later

It can be cold alright

Chilly and gets colder too

Embracing the stones

Pavements and the roads

Let me pass

And not slide

Let me walk

I may fly

On the other side

Yet snow is still there

I heard it again

It said once more

Let it snow, let it snow

Oh my, oh my

I may slide and slide

And walk and walk

But it wont stop

It keeps on following me

I like it best

When in the mornings

And it is white everywhere

Quiet and pristine

And yet cold

Welcome to my world

My world of snow

Bye soon dear

It may not take so long

I will be back again

Next year dear

To be with you

A wonderful poem! I love to watch snow fall. The pictures are great, looks as though one could step right in, enjoy the beauty and feel the nip from the cold.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Good job!
