Sacred Scent (poem)

What whisper has a wind here sent to me

Which calls my soul to wade amidst the haze

Of fantasies where wishes are ablaze

A promised dream which only you can free

-

What sacred scent here calls my mind to stray

Where time and meaning have no say at all

As heartbeats echo feelings we’ll recall

It’s you the sun has blessed another day

-

Who knows what winds are waiting up ahead

Or what strange scents are swept across our path

We only have this hope to heed life’s wrath

A hope made strong by Joy and tears we shed

-

The whisper is the love you brought along

The sacred scent is hope which keeps it strong

Stunning and beautiful on so many levels, Mh!!! What a very lovely image and the video is most enchanting.

Voted Way up again to the Heavens and sharing everywhere

You are so amazing each and every night, as your poetry each night is such a lovely thing to come home to read at this time of the evening. So, thank you very much.

God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Martin, I shame myself for not discovering you before now. Your depth of soul and beautiful reflection of life speaks to my heart. I detest the ugliness of the world and choose to see life thru rose-colored glasses. I would love to offer a pair to you if you are willing to wear them for life.

First....up,awesome,beautiful! I love the words, the picture, the whole package. My hope is made strong by Euphoria rather than Joy but what's in a scent, except for the tastes of the recipient? Thank you for another beauty!

Some say the scent of love is rounding skyline point on highway 17 enroute to Santa Cruz. The waftiness there smells like . . . . :-p
