Scenery of Dreams

Lifting off softly

grazing every treetop under my feet

an Autumn dance atop them

a final chance beyond them

towering trees grow smaller

as my altitude climbs higher

The mountains blend

as I ascend

The clouds, like oceans, drown me

in welcoming grey blankets

just before I plummet

to the earth in liquid form

shades echo across this field

conflict with streaming sunlight

a ripple effect of shadows

waltzing dark and light

air moves freely through the blades

of greener sights than ever seen,

speaking to the senses, things

still yet uncertain in their meaning

Particles, my platform

to oversee a city

Casually, crossing

the stretch between these buildings

Effortless, my flight

Limitless, my sight

as the canvas of the evening

is painted into night

I'd say I'm flying high but people will misunderstand me. So, I say - it's a glorious delight, brilliantly beautiful!

What a gorgeous view. Corcovado is perfect for this beautiful piece.

Hi Ben, sorry I haven't been visiting much, have been busy.

In both pieces I sense you have become one with nature as you ascend, a pity you plummeted in the first one, but they are both beautiful.

Beautifully expressed, I could see you soaring through the night in tune with this brilliant back drop of light as everything around you feels smaller. I enjoyed the music you chose it fit this piece really well Ben. Good work, Voted Up, awesome and beautiful my poetic friend.
