Seriously, when you write, you have a voice that sticks out to your readers, and if you aren't passionate about what you are writing, it will show and your writing will stink.

Seriously, try out all sorts of topics and subjects. Writing about anything that catches your fancy, pisses you off or excites you. You can write about anything from the worlds rarest toadstools to the most intimate sex positions in the karma sutra. You can write about why you think the sky is blue, or what trends you see popping up in youngsters these days.

Don't limit yourself to what you can write about EVER. If you are open to learning anything and writing passionately about it, you'll not only gain a diverse and wide following, but you'll learn more and renew your obsession for writing as you go.

Now, even though you don't want to limit yourself, it's still a good idea to have some niche - areas of expertise that you can write about with your eyes closed. If you don't yet have your niches, don't worry, just follow the previous tip and you'll find them as you go.
